Dear long-lost adopted motherland of Los Angeles: my kidnapped American husband and I miss you very much, so we’re coming home to visit for Thanksgiving. Let’s get bacon-wrapped hotdogs from old ladies in the street, and enchiladas de mole from El Compadre like always (I’ve been meaning for years to get something different once in a while, but the mole’s too good).
